Bachelor in Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry gives students a rigorous education in the basics of chemistry. The curriculum is designed to teach the structure of matter at the molecular level and to provide research experience in the laboratory environment. Current internationally recognized research focuses on surface chemistry, polymer chemistry, nuclear chemistry, environmental chemistry, theoretical chemistry, solid-state chemistry, catalysts, supramolecular and polymer chemistry, nanostructures, and cage molecules.
