Introducción
The Culinary Arts Associates in Science es una expansión intencional y específica del programa de administración hotelera en Mission College . Los estudiantes adquieren un dominio sólido de las prácticas tradicionales y modernas de preparación, presentación y servicio de alimentos comunes en toda la industria.

Resultado del programa
- Los estudiantes que ingresan al programa de Artes Culinarias completarán el título de Asociado en Ciencias en Artes Culinarias.
- Los estudiantes podrán utilizar técnicas de previsión para traducir objetivos comerciales estratégicos y documentos financieros en procesos operativos diarios efectivos y eficientes.
- Los estudiantes tendrán confianza y destreza en la cocina y las prácticas básicas de repostería para poder crear y ejecutar adecuadamente funciones y procesos de cocina, capacitar y asesorar al personal y liderar la cocina de manera profesional y exitosa.
- Los estudiantes que completen el título de Asociado en Ciencias en Artes Culinarias obtendrán empleo en la industria hotelera o de servicios de alimentos.

To earn this degree, students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of 60-degree applicable units with an overall GPA of 2.0.
- Completing a minimum of 18-semester units in the major with a grade of C (or P) or better.
- Completion of the AS Graduation Requirements, CSU GE-B or IGETC.

Mission College offers a variety of scholarships ranging from $50 to several thousand dollars per year. Eligibility may vary based on fields of study, community and/or college involvement, and/or financial need.

NEW Progress Pride Scholarship!
For the first time, the Mensa Foundation seeks to award our Progress Pride Scholarship: up to two $10,000 scholarships. The scholarship is intended for college-bound, college, or graduate students at U.S. universities who identify as both BIPOC and LGBTQ—and who have demonstrated positive service to the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.
POINT Foundation Scholarship
The Community College Scholarship Program launched in 2016 and went national in 2017. To be selected for the scholarship, students are evaluated on academic performance and potential, financial need, involvement in school and community, and goals for the future. Deadline to Apply May 3rd.
