Introducción
El Associate in Science in Physics for Transfer (AS-T in Physics) está diseñado para proporcionar un Pathway claro a una institución de CSU para los estudiantes que planean transferirse y completar una licenciatura o una licenciatura en Física de CSU.
Los estudiantes de California Community College a quienes se les otorga un Asociado en Ciencias en Física para Transferencia (AS-T en Física) tienen garantizada la admisión con una posición de tercer año en algún lugar del sistema CSU y se les da prioridad de admisión a su institución CSU local o a un programa que se considere similar a su especialización en el colegio comunitario. El Asociado en Ciencias en Física para Transferencia (AS-T en Física) proporciona una base en física y matemáticas para los estudiantes que planean transferirse a un programa de licenciatura en física o educación física. La finalización exitosa del programa garantiza la aceptación del estudiante en una Universidad Estatal de California local para obtener una licenciatura en Física o un campo relacionado.
Al finalizar el programa, los estudiantes comprenderán los principios de la física y podrán aplicar estos principios teóricos y analíticos a situaciones del mundo real.
¿Qué es un AS-T?
El título de Asociado en Ciencias para Transferencia (AS-T) está destinado a estudiantes que planean transferirse y obtener una licenciatura en una especialización similar en un campus de CSU. Estudiantes que completan estos títulos de transferencia:
- obtendrá un título de asociado de Mission College ;
- tienen garantizada la admisión a una especialización similar en un campus del sistema CSU;
- estará preparado para comenzar los cursos de la división superior en la CSU;
- y no tendrá que completar más de 60 unidades después de la transferencia.

Resultado del programa

To earn this degree, students must meet the following requirements:
- Finalización de los siguientes cursos principales con calificaciones de C (o P) o mejores.
- Completion of 60 CSU-transferable semester units with a grade point average of at least 2.0; and
- Certified completion of either the California State University General Education Breadth pattern (CSU GE-B) or the CSU Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (CSU IGETC).

Scholarships at Mission
Mission College offers a variety of scholarships ranging from $50 to several thousand dollars per year. Eligibility may vary based on fields of study, community and/or college involvement, and/or financial need.
All continuing Mission College and new students, including graduating high school students and transferring students, may apply.

NEW Progress Pride Scholarship!
For the first time, the Mensa Foundation seeks to award our Progress Pride Scholarship: up to two $10,000 scholarships. The scholarship is intended for college-bound, college, or graduate students at U.S. universities who identify as both BIPOC and LGBTQ—and who have demonstrated positive service to the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.
POINT Foundation Scholarship
The Community College Scholarship Program launched in 2016 and went national in 2017. To be selected for the scholarship, students are evaluated on academic performance and potential, financial need, involvement in school and community, and goals for the future. Deadline to Apply May 3rd.

Mission College is proud to expand our Mission Promise Program to make college more affordable for our new, first-time college students! Eligible students will have their enrollment fees paid for their first two years AND get up to $1,000 to pay for books or other educational expenses.
